Japanese Gassho-Zukuri Farmhouse

A steep roof of hay blocks approximates thatch above timber work bays and a rear storage loft. A west eave-side entrance and side stair link the floors for a farmstead workshop.

Verification details

No revision-bound verification record is currently published for this build.

A 3D preview shows appearance, not game behavior. Bedrock conversion and Litematica compatibility are not verified unless separately recorded.

Placing the farmhouse

Set the low stone footing on level ground and keep the west entrance open. The rear loft provides barrel storage above the workfloor.

  1. 1

    Keep the west approach open

The entrance faces west, toward negative X. Set the bottom stone layer on level ground and leave the four-block approach unobstructed.

  2. 2

    Reach the storage loft

Cross the workfloor to the east side stair, then continue onto the rear loft. Keep the stair landing and the aisle between the barrels clear.

The roof uses hay blocks to suggest thatch. Java Sponge .schem; native Minecraft/WorldEdit import and player movement have not been tested.
