Litematica Layer Guide for Minecraft Schematics
Use a MinePilot schematic download as the in-game ghost build, then keep the material list and layer guide open so you can check each Y-level before placing blocks.
1. Download the schematic
Open any MinePilot build page and download the protected .schem file. Keep the build page open so you can reference the material list and early layers while placing it.
2. Put the file in your schematics folder
Litematica normally reads schematics from your Minecraft instance's schematicsfolder. The exact path depends on launcher and profile, but it is usually inside your.minecraft directory.
3. Load and place the ghost build
- Open Minecraft Java Edition with Litematica installed.
- Open the Litematica menu, choose Load Schematic, and select the MinePilot file.
- Move the placement until the footprint fits your terrain.
- Use MinePilot's dimensions and first few layers to confirm orientation before building.
4. Build layer by layer
MinePilot's layer guide groups blocks by Y level. Start at the lowest visible layer, gather the listed materials, then work upward. For survival builds, this keeps scaffolding and resource trips under control.
Tip: if the schematic feels too large for survival, open it in the MinePilot playground first and inspect the dimensions, block count, and preview before committing to a location.
