Quick Start

Explore an original Mesoamerican-inspired ceremonial ballcourt. This is a static exhibit with a narrow I-shaped field and accessible stone spectator edges.

  1. 1

    Enter the west plaza

Place the complete foundation level with your approach. Enter through the broad west opening at the middle of the short end wall.

  2. 2

    Walk through the court

Continue east through the widened west end plaza, along the narrow sandstone alley and into the widened east end plaza. Both end gates remain open.

  3. 3

    Reach the viewing edges

From either end plaza, turn north or south to a three-block-wide stair. Eight one-block steps lead to the upper sandstone spectator walk. Descend by the same stairs or the matching stairs at the opposite end.

The stone rings and floor markers are decorative. No ball physics, scoring, redstone system or exact archaeological reconstruction is included.
